On Wednesday 15th May 2024, 16 Year 4 pupils represented the school at the GVTSSP U9 Quadkids Athletics Competition.
Ten teams from local schools within the GVTSSP took part in the team event. Each pupil from each team completed four events - 50m sprint, 400m endurance run, vortex throw and a standing long jump. For every event the pupil is given points for their results. These points are added up to achieve a team score.
Abbot's Hall took two teams to the competition. The competition was strong across the board with all schools determined to do their best. The pupils performed extremely well and showed great dedication and passion.
Once the four events were completed a team relay took place and it is safe to say that the Abbot's Hall teams smashed the relays!
The results came in with Abbot's 1 taking 3rd place and Abbot's 2 taking 9th place. Huge congratulations to all involved. BTBTYCB!
