Log inU11 Basketball Competition
On Wednesday 14th February, eight pupils from Year 5 and 6 went to Thurston Community College to take part in the GVTSSP U11 Basketball Competition. There were 12 schools at this competition - Ixworth, Walsham, Honington, Gt Barton, Rougham, Elmswell, Gt Finborough, Creeting, Bacton, Woolpit, Thurston and Abbot's Hall.
Each school played four games. The format for the games was to have the boys play for the first half of the game and the girls play for the second half of the game against the same school. The competition was fierce with each school playing hard and fast, wanting to beat their opposition. Abbots' Hall played really well and had some tough opponents during the competition. Every game brought new challenges, but Abbot's Hall rose to those challenges gaining confidence and developing their game play each time. Results below.

Well done to the team. They won 3 of their 4 games and drew the 4th game. A fantastic achievement!
