Log inU11 Girls Football Final
As winners of the GVTSSP U11 Girls Football Competition in November 2022, the Abbot's Hall team were through to the Suffolk Finals. This was due to take place before Christmas, but unfortunately bad weather called the competition off. However, it was rearranged for Thursday 12th January 2023 at Needham Market Football Club.
The U11 Girls Football Team have been working hard under the guidance of Mr Healy since winning the GVTSSP. The girls have really come together as a team showing determination and great teamwork.
On the day, the girls arrived early at school to catch the minibus and were very excited about the competition ahead. The competition was very tough on the day, but the girls did us proud with their team spirit, determination, resilience and good sportsmanship. The team came 5th out of 8 schools - technically this makes our team in the top 5 girls football teams in the whole of Suffolk!!
A huge well done to the team and to all of the supporters on the day and leading up to the event.
