Log inU11 Swimming Gala
On Wednesday 19th April 2023, 8 Year 5 and 6 pupils represented the school at the GVTSSP U11 Swimming Gala.
Always an extremely competitive and fun event for all involved. The team walked to the leisure centre in high spirits. Once on poolside the nerves began to show, but the team rallied round one another offering support and encouragement. The team swam brilliantly, putting in 100% effort for each and every swim against some tough opposition.
There was individual success for Adison in the 25m Backstroke, achieving first place. Also, the boys Freestyle 25m Relay came first in their race. Overall, Team Abbot's came 6th on the day - a great achievement in a tough competition.
