Log inKS1 Basketball Festival
On Tuesday 30th January 2024, five very enthusiastic Year 1 and 2 pupils represented the school at the GVTSSP KS1 Basketball Festival. These festivals have been introduced this academic year to encourage younger pupils to try a new sport and compete alongside children from other local primary schools.
The five pupils took part in basketball themed activity stations where they learnt to throw the basketball accurately; dribble the basketball with control; shoot the basketball in to the hoop and play tag the player.
Our pupils had an amazing time and all came away with big smiles on their faces. All five of our pupils were awarded a School Games sticker for their hard work, determination and passion. Well done to all involved. Go Team Abbot's! BTBTYCB!
