Thank you for taking the time to complete some learning tasks at home during the time that school is closed. We really appreciate your support in continuing with learning to support the revision and progress of your child.
Each day we will post a '5 a day', this is something our children love to do each morning. We will also post some ideas for Maths, English and Topic, linked to learning your children will have already been doing in school. We aim to post a mixture of activities that can be downloaded, completed online and also activities that can be completed off-screen. The daily activities we have planned for you should aim to total around 2-4 hours.
We appreciate that there are lots of other learning opportunities at home, so if you do run out of time or cannot complete something, please do not worry. We ensure each activity is left up for the week so you can always go back later on if you need to!
We hope you enjoy learning together at home.

WOW Boys and Girls! I can't believe it is the last day of the year!
You truly have amazed us with your hard work and determination over the year. We know it was sadly cut short with our time together but know we have SO many memories altogether from before Easter and even from these unique times for the summer term. I saw this poem recently and thought of all of you and just wanted to share....
We now know there is hope and your work is done....as your new teachers can't wait to welcome you all back and we will be sure to come and say a great big hello!!! Mrs Barker will also still be teaching you next year still and has sent this little poem to say goodbye for now...
So for now year 4 I say goodbye,
“Goodbye from what?” I hear you cry,
From knowing you all as Abbot’s Hall year 4
This year has ended in a very strange way
One we will not forget in our own special way.
Before you know it
We will meet again
In sunny September when you will be nine or ten.
Well that's all from us, make sure you relax this summer and enjoy the sunshine! Take care everyone.
From your very PROUD teachers,
Miss Lines and Miss Saunders
