17th March

Lilly shared lots of different meals that could be eaten in WW2 and even made a cake!

Nathanel confidently shared what life was like for his Grandad in the navy.

Seth taught us all about the importance of the Navy in WW2.

Preston gave us a great overview of how World War Two started.

Amelia showed us some interesting comparisons of life for an 11 year old then and now.

10th March

Stephen gave us a great overview of the Blitz as an event in World War Two.

Stephen carefully and confidently gave us a question and answer style presentation.

Annabelle shared information about a very special lady, Nancy Wake, in World War Two.

Annabelle drew a fantastic picture of her and did an overview of why she was so important.

Bella did a great talk all about comparisons between then (1940s) and now (2023).

Bella taught us just how different life was in World War Two, including communication.

3rd March

Charlie shared his fantastic time to talk all about animals in World War Two.

Charlie confidently taught us about the medals some of the animals received.

Paige gave us lots of brilliant information about a range of World War Two topics.

Paige did a quick quiz to test our knowledge on the interesting information she shared.

Cody did an amazing time to talk all about evacuation.

Cody showed us and explained to us some of the things evacuees had to have.

Kaitlyn taught us lots of interesting information about Joan Clarke.

Kaitlyn wowed us with lots of code-breaking facts about Bletchley Park.

24th February

Rose gave us a brilliant introduction to the different modes of transport in WW2.

Rose taught us lots of new things and we all answered the questions in her quick quiz!

Jacob delivered a powerful and mature presentation about Adolf Hitler.

Jacob sensitively shared lots of new information about the life Hitler led before the war.

Sophie shared a fantastic presentation all about rationing during World War Two.

Sophie shocked us with a family memory of how they sucked an oxo cube instead of sweets!

Ellen carefully took us through a detailed timeline of World War Two.

Ellen even taught us how to pronounce Luftwaffe properly for our class book!

10th February

Isla did her time to talk all about different war communication methods.

Isla shared a newspaper report from World War Two (it was in great condition!)

Toby did a personal time to talk all about his Grandad who served in the war.

Toby showed us LOTS of artefacts that he has including diary entries and his medals.

Martha did a very thoughtful time to talk about Anne Frank.

Martha taught us all about her life in hiding and she shared an informative video too.

Maisy shared lots of different interesting facts about World War Two.
